City Construction Updates

FEMA street repairs have begun this April around the City of Soap Lake. These repairs are the last part of the Ginkgo Street Improvement Project completed last year, but were put on hold over the winter until this spring for the proper asphalt placement weather. The asphalt will start being placed the Week of April 13th- 17th. See the locations of the FEMA repairs on the map in this news post.

Starting April 13th and 14th, construction will begin for the Sewer/Water Improvement Project. Mobilization has begun and work will start at 3rd Ave SE and Canna St S. That intersection is also being prepped for FEMA repairs so work crews are already busy in that area. The Sewer/Water Improvement Project will continue through the summer an fall. See this news post for ore info on the extent of this project.

Please be patient and kind with the work crews who are working as efficiently as possible to complete these projects in a timely manner. Please remember to check back on the City’s website to get more updates as construction continues and share this information with your neighbors.
