Emergency Water Shut Off (2/15/22)

(UPDATE)- Wednesday Feb. 16th 7:30AM

The water main break was fixed within an hour last night and water service has been restored. Local area residents have been notified that an additional shut off will be performed today to make an adjustment to the fix. It’s recommended to flush your water lines of any air or stirred up sediments from a hose or tub faucet. Thank you to the work crews that jumped on task to quickly fix this, and thank you for the community’s patience and understanding.

In order to fix water main break from construction, the City had to make an emergency water shut off to fix and replace the broken pipe. The area near construction on 4th Ave. NE is impacted by the water shut off.

The contractors work crews and the City public work employees are on site to get this fixed as quickly as possible. Currently, it is estimated to be turned back on later this evening. Please give the contractors and public work crews your support by letting them work uninterrupted, as this will expedite the repair process.

This post will be updated as more news becomes available.

Thank you for your patience.
