COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic at Grant County Libraries

At the Soap Lake Library on September 1st and 29th, from 2-5pm

8/16/2022 - Grant County Health District (GCHD) is offering free COVID vaccine clinics at NCW Libraries Grant County community library locations in Coulee City, Ephrata, George, Grand Coulee, Mattawa, Moses Lake, Quincy, Royal City, Soap Lake, and Warden.

These clinics are for all ages, 6 months and older, and will offer the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine including primary and booster doses. The clinics are walk-in only, no appointment is needed. No insurance or identification are required. Individuals will need to provide their name, date or birth, and pertinent medical history and will need to be prepared to wait 15 minutes after their vaccine before leaving the clinic.

Each site will offer two clinic dates, four weeks a part, allowing individuals to receive both doses of the vaccine.

The CDC recommends COVID-19 vaccines for everyone ages 6 months and older and boosters for everyone 5 years and older, if eligible. Everyone 5 years and older are eligible for booster doses at least 5 months after completing the primary series. Everyone 50 years and older and immunocompromised individuals are eligible for a 2nd booster at least 4 months after the first booster. Anyone who received a Johnson and Johnson vaccine should get a booster dose of an mRNA vaccine at least 2 months after the primary dose.

“NCW Libraries is proud to partner with GCHD to use our spaces to serve our communities in such a practical way,” said Barbara Walters, NCW Libraries Executive Director.
