COVID-19 Response

In conjunction with the State’s Proclaimed Emergency, Soap Lake city offices will be closed to the public in an effort to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19.  City staff remain operational and available to serve the community. Staff have been directed to conduct business utilizing remote technologies when available.

The regular City Council meeting scheduled for this Wednesday, March 18th has been cancelled. Plans for safely conducting city business for future council meetings will be implemented.

Please keep up to date on recommended precautions to take by following the Grant County Health District’s COVID-19 webpage. Also visit SoapLakeForLocals.com for local updates in our community.

Times like these are when a tight knit community like Soap Lake comes together (… well, by social distancing in this case). Each of us are looking out for the other and helping whenever and wherever our individual abilities fill a need. We’ve seen it over and over again, whether it is a fund raiser to help pay for someones medical treatment or neighbors reaching out and helping neighbors.

Let’s bring our caring and goodwill forward to make a difference in how our little town handles this emergency.  Please take care, thank you!
