Community Clean-Up Dumpsters (UPDATE)

May 15th - June 15th, the City of Soap Lake with CDSI is providing containers for free dumping of household garbage and yard waste at the recycling center by the Public Works yard off of 2nd Ave SW. Cardboard recycling containers will still be provided but moved inside the fenced recycling area. DUE TO PROHIBITED ITEMS BEING THROWN IN THE DUMPSTER, THE RECYCLE AREA WILL ONLY BE OPEN 7AM-3PM MONDAY - FRIDAY. SEE NEW FLYERS BELOW FOR PROHIBITED ITEMS. THE AREA WILL BE CLOSED WHEN THE GARBAGE DUMPSTERS ARE FULL OR IF THESE PROHIBITED ITEMS ARE LEFT IN THE DUMPSTERS. These services are provided for the citizens of Soap Lake only to help keep our city clean. Please be respectful of this service and don’t leave garbage on the ground. The area is under camera surveillance and ID may be requested at random. If garbage is not contained properly, the dumpster service will be discontinued.

SINCE THESE VARIABLES CAN CLOSE THE RECYCLE CENTER AT ANY TIME, WE RECOMMEND CALLING CITY HALL TO CHECK BEFORE YOU DRIVE TO THE DUMPSTERS.

Wednesday, May 27th will be an extra garbage pick-up day. Place bagged, boxed, and bundled garbage less than 40 pounds next to your garbage bin for collection. It’s recommended to put your garbage out the night before.
