The week of May 4th-8th, sewer construction crews will continue on Canna St near City Hall and behind the Community and Senior Center. Work East of Division in the Alleys between 3rd and 4th SE, and the alley between 4th and 5th SE will start towards the end of the week as shown in the map below.
Water crews will continue working between Canna St. and Daisy St. on 2nd and 3rd Ave SE, and along 1st Street SE East of Daisy St. as shown below. New water meter installations will begin towards the end of the week. Expect clean up and street repairs to happen starting around the 3rd week of the month.
NOTE: Construction crews are scheduled to work four 10 hour days, Monday through Thursday at this time. When construction is in your area please plan for changes to your garbage pickup, for restriction to street parking, and utility service disruptions. Please put your garbage out as you normally would but the night before your scheduled pickup day, and the contractors will move your garbage bins to were they can be picked up then return them to your property after garbage has been collected.
